My Rating: 10 out of 10

I have to say, I’m delivering this review to you with genuine enthusiasm and excitement.  CBD Living Gel Caps are just another example of how CBD Living’s products have re-set the bar for nano cannabidiol products – and now they’ve done it again with their CBD gel caps.

CBD Living has responded to an outcry from their avid customers like me for pure, CBD oil gel caps in a nano formula to satisfy those of us looking for a more effective CBD therapy product(s) as compared to typical hemp oils or CBD isolate tincture oils.

Nanotechnology and CBD Living

Don’t get me wrong, I drink CBD Living Water almost every day, but I need to supplement my CBD intake during the day due to my chronic arthritis pain.  People like me with higher levels of chronic pain are dosing every 6 to 8 hours.  Remember: CBD (cannabidiol) is completely utilized by our cells in 6 – 8 hours even though its benefits and results can last the rest of the day for many patients.

So we asked for hi-potency and easy-to-swallow CDB oil capsules that would still possess the amplified benefit of nanotechnology like their premium CBD water, but be in a smaller and more convenient form.

This product transforms semi-solid hemp oil extract into a more water soluble form that is ready (and small enough) for your cells to take in.  And nano CBD gel capsules provide the exact same adult dose of CBD as in their premium CBD water.

What is CBD nanotechnology

This patented colloidal droplet delivery system dramatically improves bioavailability of CBD and it’s absorption into the cells of your body by reducing the size of the CBD molecules to one-millionth of their original size.

CBD and Nanotechnology

And once you’ve tried it, you’ll recognize the effect that nano-sizing the CBD particles to one-millionth their original size has had on you.  Only particles this small can pass through the blood-brain barrier and thereby provide 100% bio-availability to all of the cells in our bodies.

As with universes, solar systems, planets, each one of the 15 – 70 Trillion cells in our bodies have something essential in common.  They all have a protective layer that completely encapsulates it.

The purpose of this encapsulation is to allow the good stuff in and keep the bad out.

Simply put – It works better than hemp oil or less expensive CBD isolate capsules which are sacrificed to our digestive system.

Blood Brain Barrier

The nano sizing allows for the cell to easily let the CBD into your cells, and you’ll experience the difference right away.  It’s much more effective at quickly relieving pain and anxiety symptoms.

Pure CBD Gel Caps and VESLsorb®

Aside from the nano-sizing of the cannabidiol particles, CBD Living Gel Capsules also incorporate the VESLsorb® Colloidal Delivery System’s medium chain triglycerides, VEDD (Vitamin E Dimer Derivative), fatty acids, mono and diglycerides into the final formulation along with the natural terpenes and flavonoids that qualify it as a “Full spectrum” natural oil.

This precious technology changes the form of the more dense and CBD-rich hemp oil from the hemp plant (Cannabis ruderalis) into a more water soluble liquid.  The nano-sizing of the CBD not only allows for micro-encapsulation in water molecules, is water solubility further increases the effectiveness and bioavailability of the cannabidiol compared to other pills and capsules.

These types must deal with the nutrient uptake challenges inherent in the digestive process – irrespective of one’s relative youth or state of health which is obviously different from person to person.

CBD and The Endocannabinoid System

Our members at Cannabis Animus will tell you that critical to understanding why CBD works is to learn about the Endocannabinoid System.  After discovering CBD, medical researchers discovered that we all have a well-designed and interconnected system of receptors throughout our bodies.  In fact, this system is part of every mammal’s natural physiology and produces virtually identical compounds to CBD.

These receptor sites are called CB1 and CB2 receptor cells which actively seek out cannabidiol from all Cannabis products including CBD products.

It has been determined that these “receptor cells” or often called receptor sites throughout the body are responsible for triggering proper functionality of other critical body systems.

CBD therapy has been shown in clinical studies to show improvements to our immune system, hormone system, nervous system, and even cardio-pulmonary systems.

Images of Receptor Cells

It has been determined that CBD and the endocannabinoid system is responsible for maintaining “homeostasis” of the body.  Homeostasis is a physiological term that means “balance”.  For example, CBD does not mask or dull pain like opiods and prescription medications.  It works on the problem itself which is causing the imbalance in the first place.  And all with completely non-toxic, non-psychoactive, and non-addictive properties.

Nano CBD Gel Caps vs. Nano CBD Tincture Oil

Many of our members at Cannabis Animus have asked which form of CBD to take. And my answer is always that any form is better than none, but there are considerations given to the patient’s condition.  For example, if I am speaking with a PTSD patient then I hear one thing, and if I’m speaking with an IBS or Crohn’s patient, I hear another. (I’m paraphrasing for clarity):

#1  “Sometimes, I really need something that will quickly reduce the effects of a severe anxiety attack which can become debilitating or cause such confusion in the brain that I worry about causing more harm – to myself or others.”

#2  “I need something convenient to take, and I don’t necessarily need immediate results… just something I can take during the day that relieves my chronic pain… or other symptoms and side effects of my prescription medication.”

For people seeking the immediate calming or pain relief effects of CBD inhaled in vaporized form, under the tongue tincture oil, or nano CBD Water which has an effect within minutes… I recommend them accordingly and based on the patients economic capacity.  But for those who are either supplementing their daily dosages in a convenient form, or needing to focus on their digestive tract, I recommend gel capsules taken orally and/or rectally.

CBD and Digestive Disease

Other than the convenience and effectiveness of CBD Living Gel Caps, many patients are dealing with digestive-related diseases and serious medical conditions that have been shown to respond extremely well to proper CBD therapy.  So it makes sense that a Gel Cap will go straight to the stomach and begin its journey into the digestive canal.

  • Crohn’s Disease

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

  • Chronic Intestinal Inflammation

  • Leaky Gut Syndrome

One of the most serious digestive diseases is Crohn’s, but the common thread that runs through most all disease is inflammation.  CBD has been shown to reduce the symptoms from the digestive conditions mentioned above largely due to the fact that CBD is the most powerful and effective, natural, non-toxic, non-psychoactive, and non-addictive treatment for inflammation.

Inflammation as well as other toxins can negatively affect this essential mucus barrier and compromise your entire digestive system resulting in toxic particles to escape and wreak havoc on other internal organs and systems.  Additionally, the patient becomes less able to absorb nutrients from their food or supplements.

CBD and Digestive Diseases

To understand the pathology of these diseases and their undesirable digestive symptoms, it’s important to understand that our digestive tract has a ‘liner’ that includes a mucus barrier designed to prevent large particles from escaping this system’s environment which would toxify the body and certainly cause serious health problems.

In fact, CBD is the only substance known at this time that can claim all of 4 of these. And medical research has shown that the Cannabis plant species and its main cannabinoids like CBD effectively treat Crhon’s disease “as reflected by the reduction in disease activity index and in the need for other drugs and recovery.”

  3. Dr. Ralph Kaufmann on November 29, 2018 at 11:51 am

Do you carry or know of a product to treat glaucoma, especially that can be applied to the eye directly, reaching the back of the eye?
    We consulted: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/06/140603092332.htm, also https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/04/180411090439.htm
Do you know of such a product being on the market?

    Thanks for your reply!

      Hello Dr. Kaufmann,

Up to about 3 years ago I was a medical sales rep for Trabectome, and trained my surgeons and staff. Learned allot about glaucoma surgeries, medical instruments, products used in microsurgery… and insurance companies, and subsequent decision-making, etc.

In fact, that experience contributed to my decision to create, author, and publish my observations and recommendations for nano CBD products and therapies at CannabisAnimus.com.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any nano CBD product that is recommended for use directly applied within the eye. That said, CBD works first by being accepted by CB1 and CB2 receptor cells located throughout the body. So, it is my understanding that direct application within the eye would be an incorrect application of nano CBD. But, I’m not an ophthalmologist nor nano scientist, so I’m only commenting on what I know from working with physicians, our members at Cannabis Animus, and other patients.

My recommendation is that you do a bit more research on the endocannabinoid system and better understand how CBD interacts with other major systems of the body and organs. No doubt, nano CBD would readily be absorbed by the eye, but whether that is the optimal way to deliver nano CBD is another question. No one will know until they try it. Additionally, you will find clinical studies from other non-U.S. countries like Professors Wong and Venkatraman’s work with liposomal latanoprost. Big Pharma wants to “own” Cannabis and it’s essentials, so they are holding US patients and researchers hostage as expected.

The work by Dr. Vikramaditya Yadav with CBGA is very interesting, and I’ll definitely keep an eye on him and his team’s work at the University of British Columbia.

Sure wish I could be more help, but thank YOU for bringing this to my attention. It is very dear to my heart.

      Best regards, Ted
